His innovative approach engages younger audiences and enhances accessibility, he also works hard to boost the local economy by talking directly with businesses, listening to their feedback, and finding sponsors so events can stay free and open to all. Mick’s resilience in facing challenges such as adverse weather and Covid has galvanised a loyal volunteer committee.
